Surfactants are an essential part of a shampoo’s cleansing system, but many common surfactants, known as sulfates, can fade colour vibrancy. Pureology Volume Shampoo is formulated with ZeroSulfate, a mild cleansing system that won’t strip hair colour. Derived from lavender, ylang ylang, and sandalwood it delivers a rich lather and helps optimise colour retention.

Very drying and damages hair and colour.

I have been using the Pureology Pure Volume Shampoo for about 12 years and over those years the formula has been changed at least 4 times. Personally, I loved the formula that was around 10-12 years ago the best. The one after that not so much, the formula theyve had for the past couple of years has been ok, but this recent formula change left my hair feeling like straw. Yes it gave texture to my very silky, straight, fine hair, but at the cost of a mass amount of fly aways. I returned the shampoo for a refund and will try the Sheer Hydrate instead. I just wish they wouldnt keep reformulating it, and go back to the original formula that was a great balance of texture and smoothness for fine, silky, hard to do anything with hair.

Ive also tried the Pure Volume Conditioner which I cant say Im terribly impressed by. Yes, its lightweight, but leaves so many flyaways. However, I am keeping the conditioner to see if itll work with the sheer hydrate shampoo.

Purely Amazing –

Love this product, great volume, does not aggrievate my sensitive scalp. Only a small bit is needed to produce lots of lather, so its worth the initial outlay.
I use the conditioner but no product and my hair still has volume.

great results –

my hairdresser put me on to these range of products and i find that they really give my hair body especially as i blowdry every couple of days. i think it\s really been good for my hair. would recommend to all who have finer hair.

Luxurious shampoo! –

This is a thick and creamy product - very luxurious! My hair is quite fine and after using both shampoo and conditioner, it does seem thicker and fuller. Worth trying!
