Summer is finally here! With the season comes a host of fun activities out in the sun. Make sure you choose summer hairstyles that can cope with the summer vibe. Lucky for you, we’ve provided four easy-to-do but chic summer hairstyles. They’re so easy to do by yourself and only requires a few products to use.
For this hairstyle, you will need the Schwarzkopf Professional Osis Soft Glam Prep Spray and Schwarzkopf Professional Osis Soft Glam Strong Glossy Hold Spray. Start by flipping your hair upside down and then applying the prep spray. This will provide the right texture for your braids so that it does not look too flat. When you are done, start braiding from the nape and going all the way down to the crown. When you reach the crown, twist the hair into a bun and secure it in place with a hair tie. This is one of the easiest undone summer hairstyles you can try. To get it done, all you need is a salt mist spray. Apply the salt mist to your hair during prep and make sure to scrunch it with your hands. Using a tail comb, take out one section around the front of your hair and start braiding from the ear to the center of your crown. Make sure you braid along the hairline. To achieve the roughed up texture of your hair, you will need a salt mist spray for this one. You will also need a comb and some hair ties. After washing your hair, spray with the salt mist all over your hair. Divide the hair from the middle into two parts and start braiding one side. Do the same thing on the other side. Leave your hair to air dry for a few minutes before removing the braids. Once the braids are completely removed, spray with the salt mist once again and scrunch the hair as you go. This will give the undone finish to the look.
To create a wavy long bob, you’ll need to use a heatless wave gelee (to create the waves) and strong glossy hairspray (to give that strong fixation). The first step is to wash your hair with shampoo and then work the wave gelee onto your hair using your hands. Take the bottom half of your hair and then do a twisting motion until you reach the tip. Once you are done twisting, scrunch your hair. Do this until you have finished working on all of your hair strands. Leave your hair to dry for a few minutes. When hair is fully dry, release the twisted hair strands and scrunch some more to loosen up the waves. Finish it off with the strong hold hairspray to last for the entire day!
